Another long overdue update would be my participation in the first year of a new programme launched by Scottish Motor Sports, the Scottish Motorsports Academy.
Working with fellow MSA Level 2 coach Blair Brown, we’re delivering 4 sessions this year to the academy’s riders and racers.
Session 2 was held in February at Knockhill Racing Circuit, with a visit from Minister for Public Health and Sport, Aileen Campbell.
Before lunch (sensible timing) I took her out for a few laps around Knockhill in one of the circuit’s Civic Type-Rs. An excellent chance to showcase my “putting my helmet on face” for the cameras!
