{"id":1066,"date":"2021-12-11T19:34:03","date_gmt":"2021-12-11T19:34:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcnab-racing.co.uk\/?p=1066"},"modified":"2021-12-11T19:52:07","modified_gmt":"2021-12-11T19:52:07","slug":"in-conclusion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcnab-racing.co.uk\/?p=1066","title":{"rendered":"In conclusion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So having done initial investigations;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paint has blisters appearing on the front and rear arches, nasty repair on the front corner, bootlid is a different shade of blue to the rest of the car<\/li>\n<li>Door fit is an absolute riot<\/li>\n<li>Window seals are completely perished front &amp; rear<\/li>\n<li>Drivers elec window needs repaired<\/li>\n<li>Brake master cylinder seals are most likely gone hence zero brake pedal<\/li>\n<li>Clutch slave cylinder looks shot<\/li>\n<li>Gearbox appears to have a tail seal leak<\/li>\n<li>Diff has a leak, looks like nose seal<\/li>\n<li>Driveshaft donuts are perished<\/li>\n<li>Fibreglass repairs needed in the wheel arches<\/li>\n<li>Overheating cause needs investigated, cooling system will need entirely flushed regardless<\/li>\n<li>Speedo doesn&#8217;t work (hasn&#8217;t since 1990)<\/li>\n<li>Split rims need rebuilt &amp; resealed<\/li>\n<li>Oh, and the keys have gone missing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bottom line, this isn&#8217;t a recommissioning, it&#8217;s a rebuild scenario. It is, however, a particular pain in the backside when you can&#8217;t use heat to try and free them up.
